Our heritage in the Faith

When they ask, "What do you mean by 'Anglican'?"

We have the blessed opportunity to present ourselves to the community as what we have, in fact. always been: Biblically orthodox, Creedal, Spirit-Filled, Soul Winning, "Little c Catholic" Christians, who gratefully observe and teach Traditional Christian morals for family and church life.

How do we respond when friends or family ask, "What do you mean by 'Anglican'?"

Father Stuart Smith answers these questions in his paper: Unpacking "Anglicanism".

Holy Spirit Episcopal Church

Graham, Texas

Who we are...

The Church of the Holy Spirit is a congregation within the Episcopal Diocese of Fort Worth and is part of the worldwide Anglican Communion of churches.

We believe the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments to be the revealed Word of God containing all things necessary to salvation.

We hold the One Faith as revealed in Holy Scripture, and expressed in The Apostles Creed and The Nicene Creed of the undivided Church..

We worship One God in Trinity of Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, using the Book of Common Prayer and through the traditional sacraments of the church.

We rejoice in the fellowship we share in Christ and seek to make Christ known to all people.
